I'm surprised Iobit's Gamebooster hasn't had a mention in this thread yet.
Very nice little program for gamers with a lower ended system.
Anyone used this at all? Wondered if it worked, and what sort of performance difference it gives.

A Simple to use, Easy, and effective Network Drive Mapper.
All your favorite mapped drives are saved in a DAT file,
for you to easily transport mapped drive settings to multiple computers.
Mapped Drives are saved to a DAT file, to be easily transported to multiple computers.
Entries in the list can be easily mapped and unmapped with a press of a button.
Lifehacker said:If you frequently map and unmap drives on your primary computer and computers throughout your home or office, Network Drive Mapper is a portable tool that makes Windows-based network mapping speedy and painless.
Instead of configuring your network drives on each machine (a multi-step process for each drive), Network Drive Mapper creates a master drive map file for your network—the paths and logins are stored in an encrypted DAT file along with the application. Adding more network drives to another machine is as simple as plugging in your flash drive with Network Drive Mapper, running the app, and clicking "Map ALL". If two clicks is too much, you can also create a batch file which will execute Network Drive Mapper, mount (or unmount) all drives, and exit the program for true one-click network drive mounting.

I would like to suggest FreeFileViewer, it's a very small program that reads pretty much every file.
http://www.freefileviewer.com/
It was recommended by the MS website so hopefully isn't infected.
Doesn't let you edit anything though. :\
This might be worth putting the AV section
Dr.Web Cureit
http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/?lng=en
Fixed a few rootkits in the MBR that others couldn't sort it.
Which would you recommend, as the first page seems to suggest paying $10 a month for the privelege, so I didn't read any further, so which free utilities would you suggest?
I've boiled the recommendations down to 15 utilities that belong in every Windows user's bag of tricks. They're all free for personal use; many are free for corporate use as well.
SyncToy over FreeFileSync?
Fail.
Just been reading about this skype like program called SIP Communicator, except its open source and also can be used with yahoo, google talk, aim, etc.
Looks like its shaping up to be a great program.

I don't see this on the list but i could have missed it,
Lifehacker said:Windows: If you find yourself needing to create multiple duplicate flash drives, ImageUSB makes the process painless with concurrent drive imaging. Batch the process and image as many drives as you have USB ports available.
Whether you need to stock USB drives for a promotional give away or you're just the self-appointed Santa Claus of free software giveaways, ImageUSB makes it dead simple to load up lots of USB-based media in one swoop.
Launch the free app, check off the USB drives attached to your computer that you wish to image, select an image file, and let it rip. Whether you've got 2 or 10 USB devices in the queue when you return you'll have a pile of neatly imaged drives that required no fussing on your part. ImageUSB is freeware, Windows only.

Capable of creating exact bit-level copies of USB Flash Drive (UFDs), ImageUSB is an extremely effective tool for the mass duplication of UFDs. ImageUSB can also be used to install OSFClone to a USB Drive for use with PassMark OSForensics™.
Unlike other USB duplication tools, ImageUSB can preserve all unused and slack space during the cloning process, including the Master Boot Record (MBR). ImageUSB can perform flawless mass duplications of all UFD images, including bootable UFDs.
