    Driver updating software is a bit of a hit and miss. Most times they find the latest drivers and everything works as it should. Rarely though, they can mess up.

    there is an option in it to disable adds and windows updates

    one useful freeware that I use is;

    BELARC advisor

    you can get all your software licences and I use it to get the windows key.

    another freeware utility that I use is GLARYSOFT utilities to clean my PC periodically from glarysoft.com

    Been playing with it on my home and work computers and it does quite a lot. Various tweaks done and now I can do Windows Update manually like in 7. Cool beans :cool:

    Used, Lazesoft Data Recovery Home Edition to recover a deleted partition and was a complete success, had tried MiniTool, TestDisk, QPhotoRec and all couldnt retrieve the infomation, so big recommendation for Lazesoft
