- Utter turd - OCUK WORST GAME OF THE YEAR

Another vote for BF4.

Pre-ordered the standard edition from a supermarket which stated the China Rising DLC would be free, but didn't receive a code for the DLC and quite frankly I can't be bothered going through the hassle to get the DLC just for more rubbish maps.

Regular stuttering online just like with Fifa and regular FPS drops for no obvious reason, didn't have any problem with previous BF games.But this release has been a pure disgrace and the series has gone downhill.

I have 2 that really stand out for me:

Diablo 3: I was really looking forward to this and although the 1st plau through was great well the story line anyhow, it lost all its replay value thanks to the stupid auction house and people hacking/botting the hell out of it 24/7

Aliens Colonial Marines: Well as said before I was really looking forward to this as its one of my favourite films of all time and christ how they dodged this game, everything about it was terrible :(
 
Bf4 has an adult rating yet it plays like a game designed for hyper kids, it's a cluster **** of unnecessary unlocks that cause massive in game balance issues, too many crutches implemented for the kids out there like the multiple auto lock weapons.

A game rushed to market with badly designed maps that try to cater for too many game modes but fail badly in most of them. Dice yet again release another turkey with some glaring balance issues and bugs.

Add in the **** netcode, bugs up the *** and you get one of if not the worst games of the year for the many people that anticipated a great game.
 
BF4 is getting torn apart :eek:.

Not sure what it would be for me, only really bought games I knew I'd like. Probably Ghosts if I had to pick, annoys me so much sometimes.
 
BF4, having bought premium i feel ripped off, i really can't see Dice fixing it as it was unfinished in the first place through nothing but pure greed, Dice and EA's attitude towards gamers is shocking, can't see myself buying BF5 after this junk, i would hope one day to see EA and Dice go under for the lies they told about this game.:mad:
 
My vote would be Call of Duty: Ghosts

Although in all fairness most of that would be down to the lack of support from Infinity Ward in sorting the issues out
 
Need for Speed: Rivals

Probably the only game I've bought and asked for a refund within the hour.
 
To all the people saying BF4; yes it's been a flawed release but you can't honestly believe it's the worst game of the year can you?

Yes. And my only previous Battlefield game was 1942, so I'm not even a disappointed fan.

To be clear, it is the worst game of the year that I've actually played. Ashes 2013 looks...poor, but I haven't played it so I can't, in good conscience, vote for it.
 
ok D3 was 2012 but it was such a huge letdown i think i can span 2013 as well :) Heres hoping the AH removal patch makes it playable

Cant really name any one game in 2013 but i really dont like the appearance of so many "early access" and "alpha" games on steam that you still have to pay for. One day, programmers will start releasing finished games again rather than get the gullible public to pay for QA.
