- Utter turd - OCUK WORST GAME OF THE YEAR

i really dont get the BF4 hate its not really that bad guys seriously.
Yes it has the odd issue but its a good game and and long as it gets the patches and attention it deserves im happy.

Takedown: Red Sabre is the worst game i have bought this year by far, thats a broken game and was such a disapointment.

A:CM I rented on the xbox and I didnt make it past the first level Textures floating in mid air, the first "alien" i ran itnot was walking into a wall while i shot him in the back of the head. lasted about 15min before put it back in the envelope and sent it back to lovefilm.
 
I almost never buy PC games on release, as a patch or 2 or 3 or etc. is needed most of the time, judging by this and other threads BF4 is a prime example. For such a massive game you would have thought patches would come more frequently.

Your experience has been different from mine and others. If the game keeps crashing and as a result don't get decent games online, then surely it can be classed as a crap game for those that can't play it...

Again...the game is good and I really enjoy playing it but it keeps crashing, if you can't play it reliably then it's crap. Again...I'm not the only person having issues with the game.

I'm not out to wind up any BF4 fans out there, the thread is asking for people's say on crap games for 2013, and BF4 is mine.

I really need to start doing this.

Recently I decided to never even try an MMO until it's been out for six months, they always suck on release.

Over the last six months odd I've noticed many single player games are having pretty significant release bugs/over-sights (do they even test these days?).
 
I find it hard to sit down and put time into a game these days. Nothing worse than a 2 or 3 hour session and then a CTD/freeze [not hardware related] and then finding your save is corrupt, yes Fallout 3 I am looking at you.

No current online game ever has an issue that you get killed around corners or hits that don't register, it deserves the utter turd title. The single player is also naff :(

The price is also a complete rip off!
 
It has to be Far Cry 3 for me. I was so hoping it would be like the original but no, yet another boring repetitive game just like the second one. Bloody cutscenes are taking over games more and more too.
 
there are 3 that stick out more than a sore thumb for me. 3 titles I was massively looking forward to yet utterly disgusted with the lies that were fed to me.

Total War Rome 2
SimCity
Aliens Colonial Marines. (how they fkd up my fav movie of all time is beyond me)
 
Rome 2: Total War without a doubt.

Never before in my life have I felt utterly conned by anything as much as this crock of ****.

Unbelieavble turnaround from the video previews, to the actual released product.

Easily Takedown red sabre, by a county mile the worst game released in the last few years.

People seem to be mistaking over hyped with shockingly broken with no effort to fix, not even rebirth comes close.

Wonder if those hits not registering apply to the SP too. Often I'd shoot someone in the head and nothing happens. It became increasingly frustrating to the point where I gave up on the SP.
 
Batman Arkham Origins

Cheap & nasty looking Arkham Asylum/City cash-in. Reuses the same locations from City in several places perhaps 60% of the game is rehashed but removes everything & I mean everything which made City a decent game. Its just a giant bland/generic sandbox which struggles to produce a single memorable moment or story element. Its so by the numbers & predictable & the SP length is perhaps 4-5 hours tops then you have endless grinding for poor collectables/puzzles. The MP is forced/garbage & uncalled for these games are SP only spending their budget on such a crappy MP component was a huge mistake whoever made that choice deserves the sack :mad:

The need for PhysX & or a mighty GPU is also pathetic beyond belief the gfx are stuck in the mid 2000's. PhysX does add atmosphere but its locked to Nvidia only so there goes 30-40% of the buyers who can even experience that (Nvidia were involved heavily in the development so I guess they can lock it to their GPU's AMD would if they could have got their first anyway :rolleyes:).

Then throw in the endless ripped from the finished game DLC & rip-off season pass which does not even include all the planned DLC is the final insult :mad:

WB will have to hope Rocksteady's 2014 game is an almighty hit to remove the bad taste this ripoff has left in many Batman fan's mouths :(
