V4 Twin Turbo, cant see why it would not be doable, but there aint really any point other than to be different, cant see it being cheap or particularly powerful compared to what you could do for the same money to another engine.
(And whilst i'm posting the Carlton ia a 3615cc Straight 6 with a pair of Garrett T25 Turbo's stuck on giving something like 380 Horsies?)
I used to have a 1.7 V4 engine in my first car. It was a Ford Corsair originally made in 1970.
Fairly powerful as it would do 100mph on a good day. I eventually sold it to my boss after 6 years of ownership.
Honda NR750 had a V4, though it also had oval pistons with two conrods per piston, making it kind of a V8. The cylinders were almost the same shape as a tin of spam.

Yep, mad things with 8 valves per cylinder. Shame there were so many problems with ring sealing and they didn't actualy have much power advantage IIRC.
