I've been looking at the Vox AC15 for similar duties:

Another great one would be the Fender Princeton Recording amp:

...but that's very expensive in comparison.
The only problem with recording with valve combos is the valve rattle - which can be addressed by using something like this:

...but that issue can also be solved by using a seperate head and cab.
I'm wondering if getting an Epi VJ head and running it into the speakers on my Vibrolux would be a good idea?
