Which looks to be coming in at under £150, so still cheaper that the current cost of a ref AIO Vega and hopefully as good if not slightly better.

I ordered Vega 56 at 2:06pm yesterday just after it was available in the shop with it saying 10+ items still in stock but I still haven't received any shipping email so I presume it was actually sold out at that time... Not happy and requesting a refund via PayPal.

If you write them a webnote or even call they'd cancel the unshipped order for you. Thats what I did and got a v64 instead as I otherwise may die of old age before vega is available fully

As you said it was sold out in a couple minutes unfortunately, I had the same thing

I would call and confirm as they had a small number of Vega 56 stock last week. Due to bank holiday weekend the bulk stock are coming in this week so i'd recommend waiting as it wont be long.

It's mostly the fact that they have to use blowers to ensure the reference cooler can fit in 100% of cases/enclosures. They started using double slot blowers some time ago but theres a limit to what they can do, the only option for improvement would be to go to triple slot like the HIS Turbo blowers but that would mess with multi card spacing.

Where have those blowers gone anyway.

I had a 6950 with a HIS blower that was great (while greatly exceeding ref size) and yet I see none of them around on new cards.

Gibbo said the majority of stock lands in a week, that being thousands of cards. But in a week.

Giant heatpipes, thats very non reference but the design that proved most popular due to peoples perception or results vs cost was the tri fan design and then you need a proper case exhaust fan setup as well or just take the side off

I dunno, like you say, you then need to use your case fans to do the venting of the maybe 200-300w the card fans are throwing around.

Most people don't care a bit about multiple cards, it's very niche.

I'd love to see a really beefy blower design come back.

HIS made excellent large blower style coolers, I had a few over the years and they always performed really well.

Just a little info, I contacted support over the German website text and after my initial attempt to order Vega 56 failed to complete and it was unclear from the OcUK site, after Paypal confirmed my payment, whether OcUK had actually been paid. They told me that although the website may have displayed in stock at the time of order it is not a real time stock value and it was running behind the actual stock level. It said 1 (Sapphire card) in stock when I completed my order and they have that order recorded as 14:18. They told me the stock actually ran out at 14:04, they only had 40 cards.

However... They do have another 4 figure order due in the next few days, so I'm waiting.

I recall ocuk a few years back sarcastically taping a bunch of coppers to a piece of cardboard and posting it out to some guy. Think it was around 25p or so.
