I just read a review on the drive and it did have quite a loud seek noise compared to other drives. Would people still rate this drive over the equivalent WD model?
It's so far superior I wouldn't even consider the WD. smids said:Seagate's are THE most reliable drives. Of course, there is no guarantee something won't fail but by buying a Seagate, you greatly reduce the chance of this occuring. Not to mention perpendicular technology of the Seagate.
