Vibram FiveFingers

Yeah Benny they were fakes, I checked with the European distributors.

I'm going to buy some soon, although I will probably shell out for real ones as I'll be running in them. Psycho Sonny, any chance you can tell if there would be a difference from a longer term/running/impact cardio point of view with the fakes?

the fakes are the exact same thing, you do know how fakes work?

basically person x buys the real thing, takes it to china and gives it to person y. person y then copies the original and then gives 1000 copies or whatever to person x. person x comes back to uk and sells fakes.

fakes in the old days used to be, look at this picture of this bag, now i want you to make the same bag 1000 times. nowadays fakes are made using the original as a template.

fakes are the exact same as the original, except some of the fabric/material will be of a cheaper quality to keep costs down.

the only difference i could see between the fakes and orignal were, the fabric looked to be of cheaper quality. otherwise they are identical. i would strongly recommend just getting the fakes, nobody would know the difference.

Thanks.

I had some arrive today from purekit. Though I didn't realise quite how bright the red was and seeing them in the flesh have returned them.

I've placed an order with 'http://www.vibramfivefingerslondon.net/' but am a little skeptical as some of the wording on the site does scream 'scam' but on the other hand I paid by CC so am protected either way. I'll let anybody know who's interested how long delivery took, whether they reply to my e-mails and on the quality of them if they arrive.

did you try them on?

my toe next to he little one can get sore, since its a bit curved and bent, whereas it should be straight and flat. im hoping using these will force it back into what it should be like.

Yeah, very comfy. I really had to pull my toes apart to get each of them in the right hole but once they're in it's a snug but comfortable fit. I didn't do anything with them as I mentioned I wasn't happy with the colour so have sent them back.

I don't really do any running just rowing, walking and lifting so hopefully shouldn't experience any problems with them.

I'm certainly interested in these, I'm a fore foot runner anyway, was coached this way when I was younger. I think I'll check the fakes out first though.

Appologies for my legs, think it's going to be a full moon tonight.

my fakes look to be of better quality, also those grooves, whereabouts are they? underneath? i cant see them on either of mine.

They seem a little more snug that the originals and the strap is slightly different, sits slightly higher up and was a little uncomfortable initially.

The groves are under the ball of the foot, bend the shoe up and they should become apparent. There's some on the heel too.

Well mine came today, I was very exited.......... for about 5 minutes. Size 45 = uk 10. Perfect fit for my brother who is a size 12!!

Good quality but no good to me :( tbh I've wasted more than £25 on bad nights out so not a major loss.

edit - And just discovered that the ebay seller is no longer a registered member. :D

Mine seem to be fine apart from being slightly shorter than the originals and that my big toe is making contact with the end. I'll most likely buy a 'real' pair in a short while and use these for oddjobs about the house.

I think I'm going to get some of these. I followed the guide on the original site and my feet measure 10 3/4" feet which according to their sizing would be size 42. Does this sound about right? My normal shoe size is 9

Im size 7 US and my fivefingers are size 42.

Five fingers sizing is just your size in Euro sizing :)

Lead head, I have size 45 which I think would fit you. There no good to me as there too large.

They are the blue KSO's pictured above.
