View from the Shard

Interestingly it is almost £10 cheaper to go up the Burj Khalifa which as well as being more than twice as high also has the far more impressive accolade of being the worlds tallest building.

What makes The Shard worth an extra £10?

The fact you get to view one of the world's greatest cities from a high vantage point which is fairly unusual in London instead of looking out over Dubai?

Been up as high as the 68th floor and although the views over London were spectacular at £25 I think it is a little over priced.

I don't recall Dubai having places like Tottenham, Eastham or any of the other sphincter holes in London.

The only term London gets from great is that it is large, the rest is up in the air frankly.

;)

Because no other world famous city has undesirable parts.

Just go up Tower 42 and have some champs whilst sitting looking out the window for less. Having worked in there for 4 years I can tell you it's plenty high enough and a great view.

Confirmed - it's actually $25 which is about £15-16.

Ah yeah, forgot about conversion, I knew it was roughly the same in the main country currency.

I would have said elsewhere, but I'm keeping my idea secret for when I do a London meet :)
