I don't know how they can say they don't have enough money when they are spending £100 a week on a cattery.

I don't know why you think it's better that they are English, I feel absolutely zero affinity with this kind of people.
There seems to be more to this than meets the eye. If true however, the claims about rat infestations and excrement smeared beds warrants a closer look. However, playing devil's advocate:
Available whether they work or not.
Available to those who qualify whether they work or not.

Available whether they work or not; the name merely changes between Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit.
No arguing that one but it appears aside from their rent (Housing Benefit) the £30 is the only thing they're claiming they wouldn't get if they worked.
If we are to believe the Daily Fail then the father was a member of the Army until he left to care for his disabled wife in 2001. If she is in the 'high rate care' category then with so many children in addition to the burdens of full time care it doesn't seem hard to imagine how things swiftly got out of hand for them. Not to excuse their apparent behaviour, but I can certainly see they might be on a slippery slope.
Whether that excuses having ever more children and allowing things to progress this far is another matter, but I don't think it's as clear cut as the DF makes out (shock, horror!). It sounds to me like they need help, and perhaps a word of advice about contraception, rather than mere condemnation. As I said I'm certainly not outright defending them, but I'd be loathe to make snap judgements or be jumping on the bandwagon without further information we'll likely never have access to.
As Andy said if they are genuinely in need I'd much sooner they had the money they needed than certain others (whether it be hate preaching Mullahs or fat cats scamming the system). JMHO.

And yet again they list child benefit... Even though it's not means tested and everyone with kids gets it.

The whole system as said by a few others needs to be sorted out. But the trouble is it's a difficult thing to achieve without people starving themselves. It's not just a case of finding a job that's minimum wage, it's finding one with a high enough wage such that they earn all these benefits e.g. free prescriptions etc. in a financial sense.
In terms of all the Poles coming in and doing the jobs the English want, well, they wouldn't feel any incentive if said jobs weren't freely available. Foreigners also can't just come over and start claiming benefits, irrespective of what the latest rag has decided to xenophobically print. I believe there is an Aussie member of these forums who can testify to that for example.
As Dolph stated above, it was born with noble intentions to a very different generation of people. It's a massive if not the biggest drain on the country now because of the sheer misuse of it.

Andrew could well be an atypical Daily Mail reader; if he believes that immigrant families walk into the country and star gobbling all sorts of state welfare "within a week".
It is especially absurd when you consider the fact that these types of indigenous English families far, far outnumber the first or second generation immigrant families doing the same.

If they want to be a family and not neglect the kids by working then by all means live off benefit, thats what the moneys there for to be used for. Not saying the price they get is right or anything as i duno how much it would cost per year for a family that large who want to stay at home and be with their kids and partner. But if they live ok then thats ok. Tho i think if they get that much money they should be paying rent or have a mortgage for a house large enough for them 6 bedroomed house or somit. The breakfast remark well up to them, i mean i can see why the mother doesnt want to make a breakfast for 12 people, be a hell of a hastle. Tho i hope it aint junk food and order somewhere for proper breakfast. Tho tbh if they ate ceral (not a lot do and prefer cooked breakfast or a verity of cold food fruit, salad etc) they probs could do that and not order it.

I support my original statement only on the condition it is for valid large familys who want to choose to stay home and be with the kids i mean lookin after 10 kids is a job in it self really. The thing i dont condone is family who makes babies for benefit only (hard to prove depends if they are nice or not cos some scrubbers i see with kids on benefit should be working and they are not. But a nice valued family (decent ppl) who wish to be there with their children and live off benefit i do support it is a choice, it is a choice this country can and does do. Taxes do have to go somewhere and as long as its for good natured reasons and nice people who wish for a fuller family life then i say let them do it. But others then no.

your all the same to me quick enough to **** them off when your at work yourself earning big monies but you'd soon be joining the benefits system if you had no other option and had to look after your family. I really don't think you'd let your wife and kids starve and live on the streets just because your morales are too high.

Gas them all, I saw my granddad die in hospital he spent years as PoW in Japan then came back and worked down the mines until he retired and you get people like this living in this country, just refuse them money, they can work, they dont want to, more kids less money, children are our future, how can raising 10 kids with no beliefs and respect be a good thing for this country, we have 10 kids believing in not working is the way, just gas them all.
Working is not that, its 8 hours a day more/less, it is social and gets you out of the house.
