Virgin car insurance

I can understand not quoting an 18 year old on a Clio Cup (Group 17?) but it's weird they won't quote a 20 year old on a 307 XSI. It's not like they are quick or anything :p

75 quid cheaper than tesco.

23, 4yrs ncb, good postcode, garaged. rover 620ti.

Unfortunately i'm not looking for insurance for the rover, i need to insure my beetle. And Virgin seem to think that it's not a good idea to insure a car made before 1981. PFFtFTfftt!.

Wouldn't it be far cheaper getting a classic car policy?

Now checking again its £329.

£999.99 then? :p

What?! It's closer to £600...

How much out of interest for the 172? Mines up at the end of the month and so far got it down to £420 protected ncb, fully comp and am a year older.

£90 more expensive for the Ka for me and the missus fully comp.

We pay £105 at the minute.

We can insure a new 530i for that price with direct line.

They want 1500 from me for my zetec S, when Norich union im paying 700  :(

19, 1NCB. driving 2 years, mother added to policy.

About the same price as Direct line for me, which follows seeing as they are both part of the RBS group....

Amazing, £1600 on a Fiesta 1.25, everyone else wants £1700+ and you'd have to pay extra to pay monthly! I'd still have to phone up and mention pass plus etc, see what they say.

They wouldn't quote me online :(

I've just renewed with Adrian Flux for £717 TPF&T on my Civic. The closest Admiral could do as a renewal quote was over £1100.

Adrian Flux seem good for mods as well.

Just over £800 - yep, nearly double your quote! The main reason for this I suspect is the area I live, Wakefield city centre. If I put in the exact same details but my parents address it brings the quote down £200. Obviously the 2 claims and 1 conviction doesn't help either!
