Virgin Media increasing broadband speeds by 20 - 200% starting February

Looks like my upgrade has been done, I'm now getting 30Mb/s I thought they were just doubling it to 20Mb/s? triple speed increase can't argue with that. :cool:
 
I still have a Superhub in my flat from 13 months ago, so much for them sending a package for me to post it back.
Looks like I'm going back onto their service from the national version next month, I wonder if Granton has been increased to 120mb, anyone had the upgrade it?
 
What Bristol area are you in CocaCola? If you don't know, go to http://tools.virginmedia.com under Client Host Name the four letter code after the first section.

I got December 2012 and February 2013 for Aztec West and we are usually one of the last to be done.
 
Ah I see, that is why you date is different you are under the Staple Hill (Chapel/ Morley Rd) UBR hub.
 
Seriously thinking about taking the plunge! Fed up with my BT 7 MB connection. But I am concerned about Virgin's traffic policy. My main use in the evenings in iPlayer HD streaming and I also sometimes do a lot of photo/ video uploads.
 
I didn't know there was a download limit? I downloaded 80 Gigs worth of torrents overnight once and no problems playing online.

Looks like I've been upgraded early, hopefully others on the Aztec West hub have been as lucky. We are almost always one of the last to be done so it is a nice surprise to be done before the scheduled date the rather than after.
