UNBELIEVEABLE

I sent the below to Celeris giving them another chance as I really like the look of VP4.

Hi.

Please can you advise if I would have problems with my setup if purchasing VP4.

I wish to install the game onto my home PC and my Office PC. both are located in the same house, obviously, I can only play one at a time.

Would I encounter any activation problems installing to the 2 computers.

Their reply:

Yes, the license allows up to 12 transfers a year between computers, but can't be available on 2 computers at once. If you buy one copy, then you can request for a discount on the second by emailing [email protected]

$30 direct from Celeris so maybe the same?

A few questions I am awaiting answers for from Celeris:

Does it use additional draconian "phone home" DRM other than the Steam DRM?
Does it include unlimited online play?

The standard version from Celeris only includes online play for a year.

Can it use Steamworks matchmaking, as in, invite friend from Steam friends list or does one have to use the VP4 online lobby

Seems to be it uses only the Steam DRM which is some progress I suppose.

No steam friends matchmaking.

You have to use their own system which is $10 a year for ANY multiplayer after your first year after purchase.

Have read back over this thread and think Gimpymoo went a bit OTT with his attitude towards VP4 DRM.
