Vista Beta 2 Goes Public Today

Hey-same thing here...must be some sort of standby bug!
 
Ok getting annoyed any ideas.

I've download the iso and burnt it to dvd (64bit). It starts the instalation and gets past the screen you enter the serial in. Then it comes up with cd image cannot be read. I've tried burning it again but same thing happens any ideas?
 
Bah, what a load of rubbish. I downloaded the ISO ages ago (at least a month), but only now do I actually want to install it.

Problem is, MS is no longer giving out product keys, so that 4gig download was wasted. Wish I'd grabbed a key at the time now...

Do you still have the download? If you do we could help each other I have a key and could never manage to download the 64 bit version, so we could each trade what we have but we could only use them 5 times each instead of the normal 10 goes. PM me if you have the file.
 
Yes but your not allowed to discuss it on this forum and microsoft are trying to make sure its not distributed in that way, so it may be a good idea to edit your post before a don sees it and bans you. :)
 
Im hoping some1 can help me with this problem.

Basically i have vista and did have the key but i cant find it :/ ive checked my hotmail email my yahoo which has emails from microsoft but no mention of cd key and cant seem to find a way to retrieve it

The email I got with the key had all the download links first and the key was right at the bottom, is it possible that you have just overlooked it? If you have already installed Vista then you could just use the Magic jellybean keyfinder.

Other than that, I'd say your out of luck.

EDIT: The email they sent with the key was titled as 'Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2 Order Confirmation and Product Key'
