Right got it and installed it and first impressions are good. I like the new areo interface looks so much more polished than previous bulids. The only thing I cant get to run at the moment is the creative audio console for my xfi fatality but hopefully that should be sorted out by the time vista ships.
The only problem I have is the user acount control which keeps poping up every time you want to install or run anything.
Im also suprised on how smooth it runs I only have what you`d call mid range hardware which is as follows :
Amd 4200 x2
ati x800xl 256mb graphics
2gb ram
2x western digital 250gb hard drives
xfi fatality sound card
Ohh just remembered that the page file and mem usage gets hammered quite a bit but by the time vista ships companys such as crucial should have 2gn mem sticks out so hopefully 4gb memory systems should be the norm (well like 2gb is now anyway)

1.5gb's should be good for running it.
