A friend of mine has just seen the 3gb got the price of 2gb on memory and is rather annoyed. See, he just bought a vostro 1400 which is being delivered tomorrow, the sales lady refused to budge on price but as he wanted it he bought it. Anyway, she said if he didn't order it that day then the special offers would be gone(free HDD upgrade and free shipping). Now he's seen the free memory upgrade on top of the previous offers, do you think they would do anything if he called them up and told them about his annoyance? He's thinking of sending it back asap and then reordering another as delivery time isn't much of an issue, he's just feeling slightly screwed over by a pushing sales lady.....
^^he was talking about me and i sent her an emailed which was followed up by a call her from her telling me i was out of place thinking the way i did and if a better offer came up down the line i couldn't think like did. I told her the offer came up literally hours after i placed my order, not 6 months after and that i wouldn't be buying from or recommending dell again. She stuck a note on my account saying if i order from them again she'll give me a discount to make up for my unhappiness with their service
Still, laptop looks nice
