scott cant u id them by ip and tell the cops they are using bots to buy things and bypassing the usual ways in essence hacking? Surely what you described is illegal?
Nah I doubt very much you could call it hacking.

Website crawling/probing, sure. Which isn't illegal. Google do it all the time :p

I saw exactly the same as @jeff555 for the 3060 when i placed my order. The website was shonky but after a few reloads the order placed successfully and i had got the receipt emails come through.

Is my order going to be totally nullified?

yes - they are blanket cancelling every order

I sold something at the price I paid for it recently, and the next week it's listed on the bay with a £200 mark-up, not everyone is legit in mm.
report the user and they'll find their account very quickly getting perma banned. had similar happen a while back with a motherboard. sold on the mm to someone claiming to be desperate to get a system up and running, few days later it was on ebay for 4 times what i sold it to him for. reported to the mod team with a couple of pics proving it was the one i'd sold and they were perma'd from the forums.

So I got one of the 5 - 3090 FTW3 that were available. Does this mean that will be cancelled? - It appeared about 5pm and I had to spend 15 mins refreshing my session to get the payment to complete due to the site crashing.

Lol, the "item" was never at any point shown at £479 today. But certainly was shown at £10,000 for the entire time it was up for members.

I knew I wasn't going mad. I'd literally just finished doing an online race in Iracing and I just saw the mythical green "In Stock" symbol. Just had a birthday and had £500 to burn so went for it. Oh how I miss that friendly green glow. We've all gotten used to that nasty red one. I'm sure there are some things I can buy. You know, Cow milking machines, high tech sex toys etc.

So i wrestled with the OcUK store for a good 15 mins and finally got my order through for a 3070 TUF. I've been a customer for 10+ years (you can check my purchase history). And now you're telling me that I can't have my card because I don't frequent these forums often? That hurts man...

OK
We received about a thousand orders in a matter of minutes which managed to bypass the lack of a buy button.

Every single one has been identified, frozen and is in the process of being cancelled.
There was a buy button, I know a couple of people who placed an order for a 3070 without any glitches, hacks or bots involved and despite the high prices were over the moon to finally be in reach of getting a card.

I find it a bit wrong to keep labelling orders as scalpers or bots, you have no way to make that judgement until you find evidence elsewhere (as you have done earlier today, fair play). I'm also aware of stock informers who don't even track your site because your prices are too high. Demand is huge for these latest GPUs, even your low end 3060's placed on sale through the voucher system sold out fast to a limited customer base. So let's stop the constant scalper/bot accusations until there is actual evidence of this and perhaps just accept that news travels extremely quickly on the Internet, it's how HUKD operates!

If you are cancelling every order placed tonight due to a system error, then again fair play, but I know a couple of genuine customers who are going to be disappointed and wouldn't appreciate being labelled as scalpers or bots.

How could you prove it was the same one? I reported someone doing the same and they said they needed serial numbers.

Problem is the thing they bought and sold didn't have serial numbers. So the mods weren't interested. Essentially said I had no proof even though for sure it was the same person and the item is an obscure item like nobody would buy 2 of them.
