he's got a point. What we're doing at the moment is bound to rile up the OcUk haters, any casual customers caught up in it, the discord rabble who want to buy (and in many cases resell) the cards..and potentially those 'Karens' who think the the rainforest offers the pinnacle of customer service. People will vent and even if it's unjustified some **** will stick.
However, right now, we understand that feeding those closest to us is both the best moral route and the best business route, because Karen isn't going to remember where she got Jonny's card from, let alone recommend us to friends.
 
This would've of been ideal for me if you done this a few weeks ago but I managed to get a second hand card but its great people are getting cards now.

I'd just like to say well done OCUK for taking the initiative, helping a majority of genuine enthusiasts and kicking the assess of those looking to make a quick buck. Kudos.

I think you are making far more friends by helping out genuine gamers with your Voucher code deals on MM.

I try and buy all my stuff from OcUK because the sales people have always been very helpful and the service has top notch.:)

If anything for every person it riles up there will be others who can see how you look after your base. I don't think overall you will come out the other side worse.

Also the effort being put in isn't going unnoticed on here. You are a business and this is something that you are doing off your own backs with no incentives to do.

Ideally I'm looking for for a 3070 or 3060ti. I got my last gpu from you guys and it was a card Gibbo personally recommended and I cannot be any happier with it.

I think Same-day shipping from Amazon/Ebay's buyer protection has spoiled people. Waiting 3+ days for packages from ebay with no tracking feels like a crime!
 
Why are people making purchases with hundreds of pounds for GPU's and the seller doesnt even have actual propper pictures of what they're selling as this would increase the chances of being scammed. Even from a seller's prospective theres more risk as a buyer can just claim it never arrived or some other excuse and ebay has no idea if you had the item to sell in the first place.

No warrenty and people have up to 6 months to return the card for whatever reason or they mine the life out of it and get their money back.

People getting caught out scalping is pretty funny and sad at the same time. It seems some of you are pretty dumb. :p

So from what I can tell, OCUK think the majority of purchases were done by bots? I hope that doesn't mark us genuine customers as bots as me and everyone in a discord group clearly saw add to basket buttons that worked without any backdoor shenanigans.

You could literally navigate the site and add any 3060, 3070, 6700XT to cart.
 
Massive shame to be totally honest, I'd be interested know how what the numbers were on actually confirmed bot purchased...you'd figure that the capta (click on the traffic lights) system would help with this.

Think they oc will loose a few customers with screw ups like this and the lack of customer services recently.

I just get impression all those cards are destined for the mm, which is fine but you might as well close up the pages to mm only then... Why even list them on your site if your not going to sell them if you have them.

Sorry just ****** and disappointed in oc recently.
