VXR Track day thread

So tickets are coming, mine came today, VXR 8 = Hope to get a drive in one of those.

So 5th and 6th is the first dates at Donny, would love someone to post of pics and review of the day.

This is whats in the pack, basic but tells you about the track, what you will be doing and the VXR Range.

They are meant to come 2 weeks before the date so expect them anyday.

I'm going to Thruxton on the 25th, woop woop.

The queue for that will be massive I should think... I'd rather get more laps in the other cars than wait 30 minutes (I'm only saying this so no-one else will wait and I can drive it )

I'm off down there tomorrow afternoon. They had fleet customers down there last week who said it was good - guest drivers/instructors included Tom Chilton, James Pickford and Paul O'Neil.

Well, I've just had an e-mail from Vauxhall saying my event pack will be posted in a couple of days - I'm booked in at Donnington on friday afternoon!

Fortunately my pack turned up last week

I heard a rumour that this year it's 3 laps in each car for the track time bit.

Plus:

"Drivers will also learn a few tricks of the trade from a stunt driver, including how to ‘park’ a car much faster than normal using the handbrake!"

I am in same boat, was suppose go with my sister and bro in law but they are getting divorced, so I am going on my own, not arsed still gonna be a great day.
