Don't feel as bad getting the 2080 super last month considering the beefier versions at upwards of 2.5k
I guess it depends on what you paid, the 3080 is supposedly 40% faster than the 2080 super.

Wow, that's what I recently paid for my 2070 laptop. Damn.▷ Gigabyte G5 NVIDIA RTX 3060, 16GB, 15.6" 240H… | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk)
Wow, I'd buy it right now if it had an AMD 5600 =/
I recently paid a small fortune for a Legion 7 2080 Super... now I see shiny new 30s coming out, such is computing I guess

Yeh tbh I am more than impressed with the laptop 2080, given the resolution of the screen it doesn't struggle with anything, even FS2020.
Same but tbh I’m not finding anything I do with current Legion 7 a struggle tbh it’s way more than I need must fight the new tech itch. The 16x10 25600 x 1600 screen is what’s tempting me tbh....
How well is that resolution supported in games?
I have a 32” UW and not all games support it - 16:9 isn’t best for productivity but it’s safest for gaming.
Hi All, Some of our new RTX 30xx have just gone live at OcUK.
Confident we have a good mix of Ryzen 5000 Series / Intel 11th Gen and also some very good price points as well

The start of our 3080 show will be going live tomorrow I think but it's new Zephyrus priced around £1999.99
ROG Zephyrus / 15.6" WVQHD (2560 x 1440 @ 165hz) / R9 5900HS / RTX 3080 16GB / 1TB / 32Gb DDR IV £2,599.99 and available for pre order
Zephyrus X13 Flow 13.4" WUXGA @ 120Hz / R9-5980HS / GTX 1650 / 512GB / 16GB + RTX 3080 Dock and available for pre order
The X13 uses the dock via PCI-E Gen3 so there should you should be able to enjoy no loss of bandwidth. As well as new ID's across the range, a small point is that the battery has been upgraded from previous generations in pretty much all new laptops. AMD TUF / Strix / Zephyrus will come will come with 90whr battery and new Intel will come with 76Whr. So when you consider a more efficient CPU and bigger battery, it gives you a little bit more legs on the go.
More of our range will be going live in the coming days.
I've never really wanted a gaming laptop.
I've recently been using a Lenovo Legion (1660Ti with an Intel chip) from work and I've really enjoyed it.
I've found gaming laptop pricing to be absolutely all over the place, absolutely no consistency and ultimately I'm left feeling in a mixed bag with the new stuff.
How much will ; ▷ ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 GA401IV NVIDIA RTX 2060… | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk) this fall to (Given that the replacement is better in every single metric, and IMO makes the other offerings look a bit meh for that type of laptop) as potentially I'd be interested in one.
Cheers.
Hi Martini, good question.
The GA401IV (RTX 2060) will go on offer later in this week If I remember correctly, I doubt it will be getting close to £999.99 though. The refresh on this with 3060 is more likely to come around March time.

I don’t follow, you said Zephyrus priced at £2k but the listing is £2.6k?
Hi LiE
It's not live yet but there will be a Zephyrus at the £2k mark.
Links I put up tonight were just some of the new range, not an exhaustive list. Hope that helps.
