MSI have just sent me an updated bios - going to give it a go shortly
Cool, keep us posted. Is this for a Z77A-GD65?

I can't see any of those settings you mentioned, here is my dram timing page....
The fact is my machine won't boot at 2133mhz with swizzle on with 16Gb, but it does with it off. I'll do some benchmark tests and see what difference with it on/off, according to cinebench it's very little, but if it does I'll just call it a day and stick with 8Gb.
I received a response from MSI, however they simply asked me to try removing two of the sticks. I have sent the following response:
"Hi,
I have tried each memory stick individually; unfortunately it does not make any difference.
I am able to boot at 1600MHz, however anything above that resulting in a failed POST. However, if I put the full 16GB (4x4GB) in an Asus Z77 motherboard it easily boots at 2400MHz!
Other MSI Z77 users are also experiencing the same problem with this memory, which makes me believe it is a compatibility / BIOS issue.

I'll keep you posted.
Ok, bios applied and been playing with it.
A small improvement - but nothing to get too excited about, I'm afraid
My 4x sticks limit has now increased from 1800MHz -> 2000MHz.
My 2x sticks limit hasn't changed and is still 2133MHz.
They're happy with low timings though, at least... running stably at 2000 @ 8-10-9-28-1T @ 1.55V
what batch are the sticks?are they all 1205 (it will be printed on them) or 1150?? or a mixture please check,i dont think they run to well if they are mixed
Ok guys, your opinion needed.
2000MHz 9,10,10,24 1T
OR
2333MHz 11,11,11,28 1T
?
Edit: Sorry to rub it in LadFromWales
Hey there guys. A friend of mine bought 8GB of this amazing RAM, however he's run into an odd issue. Despite previously having 4GB of RAM, Windows is telling him that only 2.98GB is currently being utilised. His motherboard is the Asus P8P67. An odd issue for sure.
He needs to install a 64bit version of Windows!
I assure you that he has been running 64bit W7, he's had 4GB running fine beforehand.
Sometimes windows 7 32bit can report a full 4GB... so the OS version is worth checking.
