I've opened a ticket with MSI
Nice scores. That MVG is a great mobo to extract high memory frequencies. Many of the super high ram posts I have read have been aided by an MVG. It could go down as one of the great mobos.
Here are my initial results after a couple of mins tweaking.
DDR2600 Stable on ASUS MVG
could you share some of your MVG settings please ? voltage ? and are you setting timings manually or on auto ?
many thanks
I'd kill for 2133.
1800 is all I can have, 1866 is a no-go no matter what the voltage.

I'd kill for 2133.

Have you thought about sending both motherboard and ram back and getting maybe the ud5 and same ram again while you have your 14 days
Even though the items technically aren't faulty? They run at rated speeds fine.
The mobo didn't come from here sadly, but from another major computer component etailer, the one based in Horwich.
RAM come from here of course!
@crinkleshoes - I'll give 2 sticks a go later
Nope, I can make 1800 with 1.35v with two or four DIMM's
I can make 1866 at 1.35v with two DIMM's, both pairs in either slots
I cannot even POST at 2000 or 2133 even if I push the volts up to 1.5-1.65v
Same story with a single DIMM
