Had a look on eBay and guy selling lots of these

Look crude as hell but surely can be made quite cheap
Not sure how well it would work compared to nice stock Petey has tho

That’s what I had in mind, some PVC piping and possibly a away of adding magnets instead of those cups
 
The way the grips sit in the tubing looks awful to me. You really want something that fits their form.
You may find something that suits you here. Get printed parts made for you at 3Dhubs if you don't have a printer.

The magnet thing is cool, but with my original printed stock, I found that slipping the controller in and out of a stationary cup was quick and easy enough.
Maybe consider the kit or ready made Protube without the magtube upgrade to bring down the cost. You can always add the mag cups later on if you want.

Here's a guy showing the non-mag version. French with subs.
As you can see, it's not difficult and something you quickly adjust to.

Might be easier if you watch the review I posted in post #12, rather than me explaining :)

There's also the endless amount of positional customisation that makes it worth spending the extra among other things.

I guess it's down to personal preference. I'm fine with the single point, but *it might* be easier to switch back and forth between pistol and rifle with a 2 point harness, as the stock won't be hanging vertically, which could make it more difficult to locate when you're under pressure.
Then again, I could be wrong.

Get the kit version and go with slower post. It'll save you over £30 and take a week.
Want to save more? Don't get the magtube. It's not absolutely essential, cool as it is.

Oh totally missed the kit version!!

Just ordered that but kept the faster delivery as sooner the better. Came to £120 all in

Hopefully easy to build lol
 
lol I've only mentioned it 3 or 4 times :D

The instructions may appear confusing at first. It's partly because they show the standard cups instead of the magtube grips.
Apart from the obvious stuff like the tube connectors, all you have to remember is to use one butterfly knob on the rear hand grip (tube side) and two on the forward grip (one on the tube side and one on the grip for angle adjustment).
Look at where everything is in pictures and on that review video.

Once in game, you'll just have to find somewhere quiet to tweak things to your ideal position and then go destroy everyone with your new found deadly accuracy and increased immersion.

I'll take a look at the pics/vids when it gets here and go from there.
Now gotta blag the missus when it arrives :D
