This shows promise, think I will keep it on my radar.

Alphs release rumoured to be Oct 22nd.
 
So, anyone played the tech alpha?

It looks stunning and runs great. Max details at 1080p I get around 45fps, which is great for 100% unoptimized prealpha.

Yes, played it.

Graphically, for an early alpha, it looks amazing. Runs very smooth on ultra settings for me (R290). The medieval feeling certainly comes across.
A lot of glitches, but to be expected this early. Woman with no eyes is freaky!

I followed the stream down into the woods and the ambience in there was just right. Shame you couldn't go too far into them before hitting the alpha map limit.

Could be an epic game if they get it right...
 
Yeah, I've played the tech alpha a little (not really done much but walk about). It is pretty, although I might need to turn my settings down a little. This is very high on 2560x1440, if I remember rightly. Enjoy the glitchy stuff. :p

I read a lot about the design of this and if they pull it off (and I hope they do) it should bring the RPG genre few leaps into the future. The quest design and its openness and the AI routines especially.
