I think the cinema chains need to invest in some new hosters or server infrastructure, what a shambles that was 
(was trying on both Odeon and Vue)
(eventually) booked for the Trafford Centre IMAX for my first screening and will take a half day and do a bit of shopping before the 16:30 showing on the 25th
Quite looking forward to it.
I do hope there will be no more trailers as I know my will is weak and will end up watching and regretting

I wouldn't think so, think of Captain Marvel like Supergirl without the Kryptonite problem and can shoot beams from her fists. That's pretty much her powers.

Finally managed to book tickets this evening with Odeon after trying since lunchtime.
I certainly wouldn't agree with a poster above that it is terrible. I really enjoyed it. We went to see it, as like you, I wasn't sure if it needed to be seen before Endgame. I don't think it does, there are bits at the end of the film that explain how and why she will appear in Endgame. However, I don't think it will be hard to follow should you not see it.
Cineworld was the same. Spent about 4 hours trying to book and just kept getting error message after error message.
