Warnings for 2012

It wont effect me in the slightest, my bicycle will still function and I've got my trust Garmin 605, water bottle, and the odd stop to loot a supermarket, no need for a job, what more could I want?

Anything that comes from the sun with the power to destroy all electrical and communications infrastructures over the globe will have killed all human beings before hand anyway... and unless the US government are going to build us a nice solar flare umbrella to protect us, there diddly squat we can do about it, so stop worrying about it and enjoy your life.

We have advanced warning of these and can shut the transformers down until it passes, problem solved.

Fox News and Daily Mail.

Nice for epic scaremongering.

In other news, a Solar Storm is concerning and if it is indeed an epic one then a lot of electronic wil get pwnt.

Knowing did exaggerate a bit with the whole world being wiped out though :p

I'm not worried either way. Come the collapse of civilization I'm finding the biggest, most-heavily armed bandido I can and cowering behind him.

I'm sure my PC maintenance skills will be much valued and ensure me a safe place in his evil criminal court.

Oh wait. Right, the electricity...:(

I'm worried about the Olympics. There was a bloody 10K run through Stratford on Saturday. I got woken up at 8:30am by them blasting out M-People at a million decibels. :(

2012 = no lay-ins for me. :(

.....I've got my trust Garmin 605.....what more could I want?

A bit of common sense apparently, Sat Nav is called Sat Nav because it uses Satellites in order to navigate you to your destination, what use is a garmin when the satellites have been knocked out from the super-mega-hyper-global-solar flare and are free falling into destruction in the earths magnetically inverted atmosphere?

I think you left out Super Tsunami...oh and Skynet :D

Edit: Super Tsunami specifically caused by an eruption of Cumbre Vieja which would wipe out coast lines all around the Atlantic Ocean.

Skynet was put into orbit just last year, how long until it gains it's own conciousness?!

Ah yeah, forgot about that one, bye bye east coast USA. We in the UK should be fine though, the south west has some lovely big cliffs to look after us.:p
