Looks like the same seller that had a faulty GTX 670 listed a few weeks back. Bids started off low so I bid a max of £120. In the end it sold for £260. That was with an insane loud fan :s Kinda nuts since a brand new one can be had for about the same price.

I bought a B Grade GTX670 FTW for £230 a few months ago with 2 games and 2 years warranty.
 
The bottom Dvi on this card is dual link the top is only single link. If the bottom port is not working and no chance of RMA you could purchase an active mini DP to Dual link DVI adapter. These are around £80 but will do what you need.

How do u know this?

The io plate says vga for bottom and dvi for top...?

I used one in a build. The top port is a single link Dvi-D and the Bottom is Dual link DVI-I with analogue.

Try it as it might be different but I'm pretty sure they are all the same.

They support HDMi 1.4 with a 4096x2160 res but I doubt your monitor has 1.4 suuport.

No idea yet, have to drain loop and remove the dcii7970...

But in the mean time i have 6 iPads that need new screens so for the next 4 hours I'm busy ;(

And to make matters worse, my Apple MiniDP-DVI-D DL has died, turned on pc this and its refusing to send a signal.
Its getting power but simply no signal

WIll have to take that to the apple shop and get it exchanged or buy a replacement.

I'm still over the moon with my recent purchase. Bought a Silverstone FT03-T combined with the Silverstone slim slot loading dvd-rw drive for £35.

Both boxed and as new condition. I thought the sale would have been cancelled at that price but they arrived the following day.

Best deal ever :D

I found that on the bay I can get dp ti dl dvi actives for under 30 smackaroos so the apple ine dieing is no big deal
 
seems i failed here

Looking at some measurements it seems the GPU and its block will be 1CM to wide for my case....!
As in it will stick out 1CM further than the window will allow... the only thing i can do to fix this is the mold the acrylic to allow this or remove the window and cut a rectangle out for it to stick though -.-

but not to auctions, only to buy it now or second chance offers
DSR has exemptions for auctions, perishable goods etc. etc.

your only hope is that the listing is wrong - so in your case if there was another fault other than the one listed then you'd have a chance, but some sellers list items up as "faulty / not tested" and don't specifically mention a fault

if anyone has any doubt, ping an email to consumer direct and they will confirm this

sorry, re read the previous posts - you did get a 2nd chance? in which case yes you would be covered

On way to apple in leicester highcross to get a new Mini DP to Dual link DVI adapter today, They will price match No competitor price hinting

They want to have a look at the dead one to see if they can just swap them out first though.

When i get back i will be able to test this card, been unable too since the cable died
