Last night i couldnt join server 1 but joined server 2 where there were some issues with performance.
One of you Admin came in and sorted it all out.
Think Meldor was his name? Yeah he updated server version and performance wise was all good.
Managed to roll in a T95 tank and a IS . Tank night for me :)
Your response to script kids is very good they get dealt with quickly.
I will visit you more often and recomend you if asked.

Once i get paid i will give you a few quid to help with costs.

Yeah Melbo is a good lad. Like me he spends more time trying and successfully making tweaks and scripts to help manage the server better...

Cai and richie, probably spend more time admining the server while in game than playing, as most of us do..

In fact we need too tall back more as he is always on server two!

If you have a moment, could you put a message on BEC to advertise for a night time admin, think we need one now as the server barely gets even half empty through the night...
 
Him bec scheduler.xml file there is a time section for each message. You sill are some set for 1000,600 etc. Each on is a second, so 600 = ten minutes

Started writing the script last night to show players within vehicles in their role.

You can see the code over on the dev forum.

Also, did the kill script work,? I put revised code up on your thread.


In the suggestions forum, furst has posted two group functions. The furst one might be easier to implement in 2.4, could you post and get the script for that.

Server staying up for foreseeable future!

We have organised a paypal account for donations if anyone wishes, If they do donate, we cannot keep a reserved slot open, but we will lock and kick last player joined to allow you access to server!!

More ram ordered as well, third server going to be running Fallujah...

Hopefully have that up in a night or two!

It was a one off thing last month for me to take money through direct bank transfer!

CAI has come forward and agreed to use his Devils Child acc (otherwise known as paypal).

Think we were the first to add advertised support for JSRS / RWS & Blastcore etc..

We have always had it on the server from Vanilla ARMA missions, so the few regs knew we allowed them!

Since we let people know we run them loads of other server have started to add the mods as well!

And don't let steam run, I used it to download the initial files....

Ram upgrade didn't go ahead.

It is now scheduled for before 5pm uk time, box will be down for at most 15 minutes...
 
Just had email from host. They didn't want to reboot the box twice in one afternoon as tey could see the data flowing in and out of it.

So upgrade of server will be at 5am tomorrow morning. Which is perfect as it will coincide with the standard scheduled reboot.
