Wasnt on long enough myself last night either, and when I was, I was too busy watching people snipe the guglovo gunshop!

The script acts as a shield, so you cannot be shot inside from outside and you cannot shoot while inside! So I reckon 100mtrs is fine, plus remember you can exit any direction!

Leaved the spawn thing up to the 404 boys, their script, but as far as I know more spawn choices will be implemented!
 
It's a real shame that Squads are locked down by Arma 2, everything else is so customisable. Would be amazing for Independents to have the ability to make a small 2-5 man team, that could spawn on each other and have green tags.

anyone got any guides / settings scripts for Arma 2..

since re installing on windows 8 I'm lucky if I get 30fps lately even with my beast of a machine...

tried everything low and at highest detail and results seem to be the same.

You playing on a wasteland server or just running any standard Arma 2 missions in single player mode?

wasteland server..

just seems no mater what settings I change it makes no difference..

also running using arma launcher and game was bought on steam.. pretty sure I have set-up the options like i used to have.

when I start Arma 2 CO it show beta, expansion in the top right and I have the logos for PAF, BMC and opration arrowhead.. also have the cech addon bought and installed.
 
That will be why then, on Markers old server I would be pretty static on 30fps no matter what I changed. Then when Marker got the new dedicated box on a fresh restart I would get 40-50fps which would drop to 20-30fps once the server had been running for 2+ hours.

Radar Truck - Available for All Sides
This is a main mission that will randomly occur. It will be surrounded by AI and once you finish the mission you can drive off in it. Once you get it back to your base you get out and select deploy and it will turn into a static radar that will inform your team when an enemy enters the area.
If you want to move the radar, you simply select "Repack" on the static radar station and you will pack it back up into a vehicle again.

Spawn Beacon - Only Available for Opfor & Blufor
This is purchased from the general store. It costs £3000 and allows the person who holds it to place anywhere they want; members of the persons team can then spawn on this beacon.
It can be accessed from the "Player Menu" and placed using the "Use" button. Note: You cannot currently move a spawn beacon once it has been placed, so be careful where you put it.

Had a good run on it this evening, surprising amount of yanks on that had some good extended fire-fights at bases!
 
He's as bad as frankieonpc, both are appalling and incredibly annoying! Lewis (PsiSyndicate) isn't much better either!
