Watch Dogs

Feels fine to me as well, but I changed the setting in Aim Assist after watching this from 1.30

Got to say - I am really enjoying WD and it's the best game I have played on the PS4 so far.

I'm glad I spotted this, I'll see what my settings are on tonight.

I'm usually very fussy about driving physics, and I'm one of those who loved GTA IV's driving (although I did like GTA V a lot as well), and to be honest I think I had such low expetations that I've been pleasantly surprised.

It's far from perfect, but it doesn't ruin the experience for me.

Been playing a few hours so far and I have to say the horrific car physics have dulled the whole experience...

Time for the auction site I think

That's a shame. Seriously, try and give it more time and check the video above to see if that helps.

I've found the driving to be a lot more enjoyable from the in-car view. Obviously you don't see as much, but the cars seem much less awkward and it feels much faster too.

I've been squeezing in about 40 minutes before work the last couple of days, and I must say I'm loving the game. There seems to be LOADS to do, so much so I've only done a few main story missions. I can't wait to play it again later :)

I did an online tailing mission earlier and it was quite fun knowing that the other guy/girl had no clue I was in his game. It was very easy though. I just drove behind them from a distance, and then hid in my car when they were running around.

Seems decent from what I've played so far. The online invasions are great, loved hiding in a car while the guy walked right past me.

The world can seem a bit stale and lifeless at times, whereas others it feels vibrant and alive. Reminds me a bit of Mafia 2, visually in the daytime and the world itself. Its sort of just there, with no real connection to the player.

Does seem like a game that I will complete and sell on though, rather than keep like GTA.

Is anyone else not that fussed about the quality of driving ? I admit, it's not great but I don't think it's poor either. GTA IV's was very similar from what I can remember.

I actually prefer the cars and driving in this to GTA.. It's reminds me more of Sleeping Dogs which again I liked a lot more than GTA. The difference in handling between the cars is pretty good and there are some good ones in there

The driving takes a lot of getting use to. The cars feel very heavy and then change to feel like you are driving on ice. Doesn't feel like the physics in GTA IV or V to me (I preferred IV's physics).

Only managed to play 15m last night and I got really bored. I think I should stick to the main storyline as I get distracted by the poor side quests and that's probably what is making me feel flat.

I need to work on my tailing technique when I stumble on a crime which is going to take place. My first attempt ended right away as I was too gung-ho and pulled up in my car right next to the criminal. He just ran off. :D

Stealing money from people seems way too easy, ok you don't get loads off each NPC but you can make an easy $1000+ by just walking a few blocks. I think I need to find a goot rooftop spot overlooking an intersection to start messing around with the traffic lights...

It's grown on me actually. I think a lot of people have been describing it as arcade like when it's not. If you're too aggressive with the cars (well most of them) then you'll lose control. I like how the various cars actually feels fairly different to drive.

I regularly get NPC's with $5,000+ - think my best was over $10,000. Making money does seem way too easy... not really sure what I need the money for. I've got over 300k but not sure I've spent any (except maybe for when I bought a gun for one of the story missions).

Anyone figured out the Mayor thing? I arrived a one spot with no Mayor. Awesome, I thought, I'm first, I'll get this. Nope. I come back an hour or so later and someone else is Mayor with only one visit. I've now visited that same spot 6 times - and that dick is still Mayor. I don't get it :(

I'm really enjoying the game at the moment. So much to do that, so far, I've not managed to get bored. Did a bit of online free roam last night and ended up car surfing, shooting at stuff while another player drove and messing with traffic lights etc. It's amazing just how well you stick to the roof whilst weaving in an out of traffic at silly speeds :D

Does anyone else have problems playing online? I was trying to join an online decryption last night and left it sitting for about 15 minutes and got nothing! I've been connected to uPlay since starting and it's turning into a bit of a pain!

I felt bad last night because I stole about $6000 from a cancer patient.

I'm not keen on the driving either, some nice touches but it feels more like Saints Row than GTA. Then again, that could be said of the whole game really.

Still, it seems quite enjoyable so far, if a bit repetitive. Missions haven't been particularly exciting so far though I'm not far in really, and the "criminal activity" events are boring because they all seem to end up the same way; you chasing the person while they run in a straight line, then knocking them out. It's early days though, perhaps there's more variety further on.

Can't see me bothering with any DLC or season passes for this though.

That's the thing I don't understand. On the one hand, Aiden is some sort of vigilante taking down criminals, while at the same time he's stealing money from their accounts, invading their privacy and taking their cars.

I'm enjoying the game, the only downside for me is the rubbish music selection that they have in the cars which really distracts me when there's a thrilling car chase. (Personal taste :p)

Also there seems to be a massive inconsistency with the major character and the actual gameplay. Mainly its when he grumbles about criminals taking advantage of other people in a cutscene, and then i just walk down a block and hack some random traffic lights causing a collision which kills 4 innocent people and blows up 3 vehicles and my reputation doesn't take a hit. Really doesn't make sense to me.

That's the same with any sandbox game though, you have to treat them separately, the story and then the sandbox. If they limit you to what the main character would actually do then people would complain that there wasn't enough freedom.

Vigilantes still operate outside the law.

Look at how the Green Arrow is portrayed as a vigilante in Arrow. The whole point of the game is that the extent to which you operate outside the law is up to you the player.

I'm halfway through Act 2. It;s pretty good, I actually quite like the driving when you get used to the handling of specific cars.

If you have 40 play points you can unlock the "Papavero Stealth Edition" car and order it in the "cars on demand" option.

One gripe which is minor is I don't really care for the hacking mini game of rotating pipes. The Spider Tank however is a blast.
