Anyone know how you increase your online hacking defence? Mine says weak at the moment.

I just assumed that was your 'win rate' for them, either that or the amount of intrusions you defend.

I'm not sure what to think of this game, putting the graphics debate to one side, It just seems a bit bland, I know its set in Chicago but it all looks the same and there's not as much "a living breathing world" as I'd hoped for, for the most part the cars and peds all look to similar not as much variety as I thought and the side missions seem a bit thoughtless for example, spot a guy doing a crime, chase, same animation for combat take downs, rinse and repeat. The main story seems ok but I kind of feel like I can take or leave this game.

I've won 3 of them so far, once I was hiding in a train and I kept stopping it so it didn't get out of the area, the others were just hiding behind cover and when he was checking where I was I just kept moving around it so I always had cover between us.

Edit: Left my game on overnight and I still didn't get the trophy for being tailed 5 times..

Had fun hacking another player last night, I managed to find a good elevated spot overlooking the only way up to me. I saw the player running around searching for me and at around 80% he came up the ladders to find me. As soon as this happend all I did was jump down and observe him from below. I was like a ghost. LOL

My only successful hack so far has been someone who I think was AFK. I am loving the online hacking and tailing stuff though, I'm sure it'll get boring at some point but I do find it fun right now.

I've only been hacked once though, I kind of want it to happen more.

I've barely done any main missions, quite enjoying just doing side stuff at the moment.

Everytime I try to play the campaign I get a fixer contract and get sidetracked, then I spot some shifty looking people and intervene on a crime.

I quite enjoy Tailing, it feels closer to what hacking should be. They have to spot you acting weird rather than being told you're there and where you are.

Not played tailing sounds better though. Still a shame you can't challenge friends.

Has anyone else managed to check in at the Motel? It just doesn't seem to want to let me check in there, I can do other check ins fine. And before someone says I've already checked in, I haven't, I cannot access the rewards as it says I need to check in.

I did it yesterday, I checked in and took the money which was there but I have no idea what it's all about, where does the money come from ? Am I suppose to leave some cash ? :confused:

The money is from other people that have left a gift. You don't have to leave anything. I've been leaving stuff in the hope there's an achievement but I'm not sure there is.

Just had a blast for an hour, pretty much no idea what i'm doing so just running around hacking people. Didn't think the driving was as bad as people are making it out to be ... I was expecting something absolutely horrific!

Quite like the little summaries you get of people, one said 'Frequently visits fetish porn sites'
