Everyone says the driving is awful but I dont find it that bad. Perhaps I expected worse but for me its as arcade-y as I expected it to be

I got called a ubisoft fanboy for saying similar earlier from someone saying the hacking was too difficult :rolleyes: I'm enjoying the game without trying to worry it's not the game from e3 2012.
 
He didn't say the hacking was too difficult, he said doing missions with just hacking is too difficult, which is probably true. I find it much more satisfying trying to use stealth and my tools rather than guns blazing in this. In fact as far as open world games this is one of the most 'passive' I've played it as, avoiding killing where possible.

Yep I tried to never diverge from using the silenced pistol. Played it a lot like splinter cell :p

Well I would prefer it too be more difficult to go the stealthy route as it is in most games. In this you have more tools at your disposal than most games, like being able to scout ahead with cameras, distractions etc. seems developers can't win these days.
 
Okay, I've spent a few hours playing now and I'm slowly changing my opinion. Enjoying it more now.

I do still find the driving very meh and the character moves a little odd but I can deal with that. The story is awesome and the visuals amazing in places.
 
Wish I turned off the online hacking thing before starting now, it's just annoying after the first couple times. Surely you should be allowed to just leave the area to escape instead of faffing around looking for the person?

Did manage to get a guy to 86% yesterday but then messed up!
 
Always happens to me when I'm in the middle of something. Had a bounty one come up a few minutes ago, he got to 100% as I had a tonne of police after me after so was trying to escape them and find the hacker! police killed me and when I respawned it just continued but I was miles away from the area. So annoying.
