I was also told i didnt need a kill coin as ive got bblood red mayhems fluid is that right

You don't need a kill coil as the mayhems fluid has all the goodies ready mixed in.

The screws too short?

the 360 rad came with only 6 screws which are perfect for the fans on the other side but way to long for the top if i continued to screw it would go right through the rad.
Was i meant to get more screws???

I presume you got the Hardware labs rad you said you were going to.
They take M4 screws by the looks. I can't believe they were not included mate I really think they should be.

Is the mounting hole tapped?

It's a diaster the xspc res pump was hard to get in , 2 of the corsair sliding latches pinged off. The aquaero fan controller feels really stiff to push in. The sli bridge was wrong now I'm thinking about a 240 rad in the bottom. So no working pc and any new parts won't come until Tuesday :(

Strange on the XSPC res I didn't have an issue. You can get the quick release back on but they are a fiddle.

I just did the 240 rad mod to my 800d It was easy with a dremel and 240 fan grill.

gutted for you mate I know this has been ongoing for a few weeks.

I just got the dremel 300 and a box of speed click 456JD 38mm cutting discs attachment.

A decent jig saw will cut the base out bu the internal rivets inside the HHD cage are a killer to get to.

Thanks m8 I'll have a look online for one . I've installed the CPU block, both gpu blocks and slide in the res/pump does yours come up flush with the front panel? Mine is just off.just leaving it now until I've got the 240 and a dremel and spoke to oc's about the bridge issue :(

the pump/res is perfect flush. Only use 2 screws on small orings so I get no vibration and a little movement to bleed it. I tighten them up slightly and then its sturdy.

What is in the bay under the res? I put my dvd drive directly under it as the O ring overhangs the body on the base

Heres the front if i push the res pump forward it would at some point just fall out
what am i doing wrong???

thanks m8 when i do that will it look flush with the front panel as the blu ray drive does?
Sorry for all the questions i really appreciate it. Did you get a fan controller? ive bought extension cables for some of the fans so it will reach the FC up top. Ive ordered the 240 rad, dremel and fans. Will i need any special fittings when i comes to drainning ?
I need to speak to OC on monday about the rad mounting screws as i only go the fan ones

Did you use anything to mount the 240 rad in the bottom of the case?

Yeah cut the hole and got a 240mm radiator grill. The hole I cut is big enough so the fan mount holes are within the cut out. I used some super tacky foam padding about 2mm thick to secure the grill in the bottom and mounted the rad to it with the screws from underneath. If you google it I pretty much followed the vid instruction
