Water spillage - please help

going back to basics
the power socket (wall plug) - ok?
kettle lead, fuse - ok?
psu - tested with voltmeter you said? i assume ok? if not you have tried your spare psu?

mobo is new - so unlikely to be an issue (DOA possible, but unlikely)

cpu, gpu, ram all not excluded
don't plug the ssd in yet (extra component to add to the complications)

you have a spare computer - ram is easy to test, as is the gpu
these would be the first items i would test on the working computer

then we can say
mobo ok
ram, gpu ok
then would leave cpu/mobo

It's an option to try parts but try the 3350g, I just checked and that motherboard has a little black button on the back q flash plus button you can update the bios without the need for another cpu.

Refer to the manual .
what micky said

Ok so I can do this even with no power whatsoever?

In the above video he has light and power to the board.

So download the bios into a usb then plug it in. Then what?
Thank you

I can't use the other computer as it's in use (online schooling) along with I really really don't want to take it apart. (Can we pretend I haven't got one please)
Is there another way to test the ram and GPU?

Is there another way to test the ram and GPU?
not really, no. to test you will need something that's 100% confirmed working unfortunately :(
are you using the spare psu currently or the one original one that was in the pc when it was spilled on?

if using the original psu, swap it to the spare and try

fans still spinning? plug in the hdmi cable and see if there's an image?
They stopped as soon as I put the tray (carefully) down.
What's going on?! Lol.

The PSU Didn't get wet but I am going to swap it over now.

I just wiggled (gently) the wire 24pin and the fans started up but no screwdriver near

Edit. So frustrating I've literally just been called out. I will be back in an hour or so (please say you can be here ) so sorry if I could cancel I would but I can't :(

the cables need to be reasonably forcefully inserted until the clip at the side, clips
Cables were inserted until the clip clipped.
I think what happened was when we bridged 16 and 17 it opened the pin up a bit so it wasnt making a connection with the board.

Fans now fired up.
Connected hdmi to TV and have this message:

I remember this from last time, but can't remember if I press y or n?

I have all the correct bits fitted, both sticks of ram, the right CPU and GPU fitted.
Anything else I need to connect before pressing the button? And which button please?
