That 80's case is awesome! Only tiny (tiny, tiny, tiny......) change would be to stick some day-glo vinyl over the Crucial SSD as it looks a bit normal for such a flamboyant build.

Mind you I had a pair of Ready-Brek day-glo orange socks in the 80's so my opinion may be null and void....

Wee update - realised that taking the front off the Phanteks P400 dropped the temps by a good 10-20 degrees so the airflow is pretty rotten when space requires you to fit the fans on the front of the case.

So I got the dremel out and turned it into a rebel:

Sorted out a couple of the runs I wasn't happy with and added an alphacool flow meter which I quite like:

Hopefully that's me done until the next time!

Crammed a fair bit into this mATX build with a little help from an external radiator in the garage. :p

I'll need to swap the CPU block inlet/outlet by rotating it 180° but that can wait until the rebuild on next upgrade. Current full load temperature is 29° on the GPU. :)

Cheers, they took a lot of effort to get right...and a lot of tube!

quick video of the build also.

Wow. Love this!!

It is interesting to browse this thread and see how drastically the watercooling scene has changed over the years

the cheap LED strips have gone crappy over time, so has the tubing and blocks since putting a silver coil in and causing a reaction of metals..

Final tweaks done with primary build, though res LED light's busted so EK sending another one out thankfully, can now say to myself no need to tweak anything (yeah right, next shiny will get my eyes no doubt :( )

Small update on my rig, sold the X99 Workstation setup and replaced with a Ryzen platform and added another EK MSI 1070. Then went with a parallel loop.

Working great and looks a bit neater to my last setup.

My first loop, still have a few things to sort, like sleeving cables and sorting out that GPU droop, if I can, but I'm really happy with it. Feels like I crammed a lot into my Define R6! Nice and quiet now.
