Technically speeking if Sven selects Rooney, then its Rooney's choice as to if he goes or not, there is nothing Ferguson or Man Utd can do. But i dont think that will be the reality, Ferguson will ask his medical staff if he is 100% fit if they say no he will tell Rooney he's not going and i would be shocked if Rooney went against Ferguson.
