Right, my SRT8 is currently worth £18,620 or something at the minute on 43k miles... so what i did was put a mileage in of 145k... and guess how much... wow you lose £8k... simply because of milage

You surprised? You just put 100k on it! I am surprised its still worth £10k to be honest

Sold my car yesterday to GoodByeCar (part of the Peter Vardy group). The guy there said the auctions were shut/quiet so they were having to use this as a means of getting stock. Bought my Tiguan last Aug, put around 7,500 miles on it and made £1,500 selling it last night. Madness! They gave me £4k more than WBAC were offering and around £1,000 more than Motorway were initially offering (before the inevitable knock-down).

The valuation I received is the price they paid as there was nothing wrong with the car so they’d be hard pressed to knock money off.
Goodbyecar are worse on my cars, but its a mixup between motorway and WBAC as Motorway are 17k on S2000 and 33k on Aston, but WBAC still best on 458 at 127k this week. They go up and down every week.
Same, about £1k less
£8k less than WBAC for me!

I thought mine was bad at 4k less. Not sure how the statement works that they'll price match.
Probably have some get out of jail free card like they can say the condition isn't as was described, or you can't make a "like for like" quote because the terminology is different on another site, hence they won't beat the price, if they don't want to move that much on price.
Even their website is a bit inconsistent - on the main page it says they will beat any quote or give you £500 cash, then on the how it works page it says "Don’t forget that if you find a better like for like quote somewhere else, we will beat it by £100."
So this £500 must be a complete red herring as they've already stated that they WILL beat any quote by £100, hence they will never pay out £500 because they will always beat a quote by £100.

Mazda were offering nothing above my pcp balloon although this did acount for my excess mileage which knocked c£1.8k off the value.
WBAC £1k more than Mazda. I tried a few local car dealers and got another £1k higher than the WBAC value.
