looking at some of the cars coming through the system they must be offering some good prices.
Like 6 month old Aston Martins, had a couple of GTRs recently. 2020 model cars with 3-400 miles on them.

Mrs took her 2011 fiat panda in (112k miles) and the online valuation said around £770. They took one took at a fairly minor dent in the driver door and said they could give £300

Its an ugly yellow runaround car so doubt the dent really devalues it that much.

We don't particularly need the money but do want rid of the car.

Going to try Evans halshaw next (any other recommendations?)

Edit: 2011 not 2017

Ferrari last week 128, this week 117k
S2000 last week was 16k, this week 17k
Aston last week was 29k, this week 30k
M5 last week was £10,500, this week £10,805

The Corvette they don't recognise and the Yaris not even bothered trying might now do so out of curiosity.

Checking what cars are advertised at, similar age/miles/spec Ferrari 135-155k, S2000 18-25k, Aston 40-45k, M5 12-16k. As a percentage they are miles out on the Aston.

You'd get much more for it privately atm though??

Privately they are fetching 34-37k it seems, I think a delivery miles car was flipped for around 38-39k, no intentions of selling it anyway, it lives up to the hype and I really enjoy it though now the sun is out admittedly I've moved to driving the S2K, Vette and 458. :D

As mentioned taking advantage of these rising values only really works if you can live without the car, or are looking at downsizing. My car increased four times within a month before I sold to downsize.

If I wasn’t downsizing and had something pretty special or in immaculate condition, I wouldn’t count on being able to buy a similar one for a big saving down the road.

Our Mini is in for end of warranty check and the dealer offered us 4k less than we paid for it almost 3 years go this was 1.5k more than WBAC but it is a well spec'd car that WBAC doesn't take into account. This wasn't to swap in for another car straight up cash offer considering it but it has started seeing more use again.

Amusingly they are offering £400 more than i paid BCA for my Cayenne a few months ago, the same destination that WBAC would send it to anyway :p
