WD 150 Raptor -cold boot problem?

Is that a bios setting?
No. From Device Manager, under IDE/ATAPI controllers look for your drive under one of the SATA controllers then disable native command queuing from properties (assuming you have the nV IDE SW drivers installed from the chipset package).

More 150 raptor woes

I built my brother a PC a month ago and the disk started getting Disk Boot error after the POST when booting up from cold. Spoke to a few friends and then to WD about a replacement. They have sent me a replacement and I installed it all yesterday.

I switched the computer on this morning and get the Disk boot error warning again with the new drive.....needless to say I am very non plussed.

Thoughts?
