Wearing suits to work

£260 is nothing for a suit, that IS a cheap suit. Anything less is probably a bit ***** looking.
I spent about £700 on my suit, absolutely gorgeous, fits perfect.
I don't usually bother with expensive clothes but it was well worth the money.

Though you'd probably want something machine washable, unless you're quite high up then you need something snazzy looking either way.

Standard OcUK response. On one hand when we get a salary thread it seems to me as though everyone is on the breadline, then anything else its normal to have £700 suits and £5k watches.

River Island suits arnt't bad either i got Jacket Trousers and shirt all seem of a very good quality and very comfortable to wear think i paid £120 for all 3. Definitely worth that extra over the cheaper ones. Next do very nice shirts especially the Slim fit ones

The most expensive suit I own is 400quid..... and even then I really didnt want to spend the money on it.

For work I got a couple of suits bought from M+S as most people have mentioned. They are good quality and dont look too cheap imo. Great for work.

I can see why you would have one "expensive" suit for special occiasions. But to those who say £250 is a cheap suit..... get off your high horses not everyone has £700+ to spend on one piece of clothing they may only wear a handful of times.

Then again as mentioned I guess that is the ocuk way for some ppl :p
