WEC 2024

Seems to have settled into normal running for now. Not sure what the complaints against the 78 were about, the rear lights are fine… no idea how either Lexus are where they are though.

24 and 77 off, not sure what the Nielsen car was thinking, rain on the south side of the track as well now, gotta go change the drives in the recorders in a bit, only 4 more hours to go, hopefully it'll stop raining and we'll make good time back to the house..

Yeah, it’s very good! I am surprised by BoP working after expecting them to have made a sizeable balls up when originally seeing it.

Cadillac is without a doubt the most impressive sounding car on the grid!
Definitely. The hyperpole session when it was on its own was amazing! Still so close across those top 4/5 cars! Shame so long was neutralised! Didn't have that back in the day!

How long were they under the safety car? Went to bed at 2am, I know, lightweight :) and woke about 5 maybe. Radio said they were needing to switch safety cars as they were running out of fuel.

It's warm and sunny right now but means nothing, the weather as turned within minutes this weekend.

We're about 200m from Porsche Curves. Slept surprisingly well.

That Caddy #3 made a right mess. I'd figure that there is a fair bit of oil out on track as well. Might catch some people out when racing eventually gets under way.

I would say the Marshall’s behind that tyre wall are earning their keep today but I guess they aren’t paid so maybe not… haha! Kobayashi slowing and then I get adverts.. :/

Oof that Caddy is wrecked.

For those that stayed up, how did Ferrari **** the job (the #83 in particular)? Was it just a result of the stop-go after the Kubica incident last night? I know the gaps are small now.

If I’m reading it right it looks like the Toyota has had the fastest laps anyway.
