Wedding rings

I wanted to get a cheap titanium wedding ring for under £50. This idea was vetoed and now I have an expensive, soft, white gold wedding ring that gets scratched and scuffed by anything stronger than a stern look.

I insisted on a titanium wedding band. I drive for a living and constantly tinkering with cars so I wanted something not to get damaged easily.

lost mine on while diving so i would suggest taking it off on honeymoon. I wore the replacement for couple years but i just didn't like wearing a ring so haven't bothered for last 10 years of marriage.

I can only assume, its mostly Rugby.

I'm a bit too old now for rugby, have you seen vets play? They're vicious!. But weightlifting, BJJ etc... Also if ever I do anything intensive with the hands such as gardening, car maintenance etc... I'd take it off anyway. Degloving is not something I'm wanting to try....

But also I genuinely don't like wearing it, don't find it comfortable. My wife doesn't care that I don't. The only thing I wear is a watch and even then sometimes I take it off.

We bought ours from beaverbrooks. After negotiating I think we were at around 35% off with 1st refurb free.

I stopped wearing my wedding ring a few years back as my fingers are now too fat. On honeymoon I had to be careful as it was loose and I kept nearly losing it. I also wore it while kayaking on honeymoon and the oar absolutely destroyed it, so the refurb came in handy.
