Weekend Football 21/22 & 23rd ***SPOILERS***

I can't see Cesc leaving at the end of this season or Wenger getting the boot either but if nothing happens next season its more than likely. Its so frustrating as our first team is as good as any its just our squad seems too thin in certain areas.

Arsenal were supposed to be kicking on from last season, instead, even when Fabergas has been in the side, they have not been all that.

Keep thinking "next year" and you will fall into the same kind of rut as liverpool.

What is happening at Arsenal is simply not good enough and Wenger has to get his act together because believe it or not, he isnt immune to getting the boot, which is possible if you dont qualify for the champions league.

I agree, I don't keep thinking 'next year' either, if Wenger doesn't buy another top class CM this summer then next year will be the same. I don't think what's going on is acceptable at the minute, it's a bigger problem then the Arsenal staff seem to think. But even with that view, I don't think Cesc will leave so soon, he has a lot of years ahead of him and he seems intelligent enough to know his career is going pretty well right now and he owes it largely to one man.

All Newcastle fans seem to hate Spurs.... yet none of us seem to give a monkeys about them, strange.

Dave Mason writing in The Observer:

"Don't we have sweet days at the Lane now? And after Keegan's recent remarks about southerners, it would be even sweeter to wipe the floor with the Geordie nation today.

Given the relative trophy count, sounds more like subordi-nation to me. But we mustn't be so charitable towards our bare beer-bellied friends - the six points we gave them last season kept them up and we've already donated three this time.

If the game's dull we can always count the empty seats at their end - these 'committed fans' never take the full allocation, you see."

Written just before the Spurs 1-4 Newcastle game.

What's that got to do with a bottle of New'ky Brown?? :p

Does he even hint he hates Newcastle? I've lost count the amount of times I've seen toon fans post about their hatred of Spurs. One Toon forum in particular was absolutely obssessed with us and I remember going on one day and nearly 50% of the whole forum posts were about.... Spurs! lol

Got so bad the admins shut the Toon board down for a few weeks. Yet I rarely even see or hear a Spurs fan ever even mention Newcastle, never mind feel so strongly about them.

As I said, strange??
