it's a bit throw in at the deep end style, last time we did it with people coming to play in a new league was with evra and vidic and in the short term certainly it dented their confidence.

Yeah I appreciate the caution, but its only the cup and Welbeck isn't even left footed let alone a winger. Just seems it might cause Tosic more harm to see him not even getting a chance with no other options available.

What happened to Redknapp playing a weakened team? Bar a few players it looks full strength to me. Wonder if he was playing mind games as it seems to have backfired as Man U have an even stronger team out. :p
