Impressed with Fabio.

His defending seems a little iffy though.

Well taken goal from Berba and a lucky goal from Scholes/Hudd.


Good game so far and promises to be even better if Defoe makes an appearance and hopefully Giovani too.
 
You can only go off what you have seen upto now but given how the Da Silva brothers have started their careers at Utd, they are easily as good if not better than what the Nevilles were at the same time of their career. How they progress is a different matter of course but first impressions are very good upto now
 
I dont mean to pessamistic but i can see a few more goals in the second half, and they aren't gonna be from Spurs :(. When we have the ball we dont know what to do with it and just give it away.

37% possession in the 1st half and it isnt gonna get better in the 2nd, oh well, lets hope for a lucky equaliser.

Fair play, he is brazilian!

The only change for United I would make for the moment is take off Scholes as aside from his goal he's not done a lot. Bring Giggs on instead as he's a bit more dynamic and is more likely to breakdown the spuds with a run. Maybe give Tosic a late runout if we can get another goal beforehand too.

Oh, they are far better than either of the Nevilles at 18. If they apply themselves with as much dedication as Gary and Phil did than the future will be bright and the future will still be red!
 
spurs aren't passing the ball well enough, last season they could cut through teams pretty effectively but they seem to have compremised goal scoring to patch up the defence
