*** Weekend Football Spoilers 11/12th etc ***

So Senderos butted in then. I hate that part of the game these days.

Alonso tbh isnt a dirty player. Typical midfield player who likes to get stuck in. Thats what I like about the game?

Could Liverpool of come back if he didnt get sent off? 81 mins gone but was Liverpool really in the game at that moment, had a chance to win it?

Great win and great performance, at Anfield we were totally outplayed but today we got stuck into them and really should have scored 2 or 3 more goals.

What a player Fabregas is becoming, despite the likes of Gerrard and Alonso being on the pitch he was running the show.

Alonso was unlucky as I reckon the ref didn't see he slipped, just looked around and saw Alonso had flattened him. Not like I care though ;)

You shouldn't be so flippant about it, accepting things like that is what makes them commonplace:)
True again. I wasn't being flippant, just couldn't be bothered to make a big deal out of it.

I didn't realise at the time, but if Leeds win their remaining games they're guaranteed automatic promotion whatever anyone else does.

Of course thats far easier said than done, but given that we've cut a 14 point lead to 5 points still with a game in hand its not a situation many gave us a chance at.

If warnock keeps playing a different set of strikers every game in different formations like he is doing now it should be easy for them!!

To be honest right now Watford are a bigger threat than Sheff.

And they're doing it off the back of ex-leeds players

I cant understand whats happening to sheff utd they were brilliant upto christmas. I think they've got too many strikers: shipperly, kabba, Akinbiyi, dyer, Horsfield, webber and a few more. Theres no consistancy lately and why did jagielka play at rb. Also Sheff UTD fans must be the worst in England, they're never off Warnocks back even if they win the boo boys are out. Leeds should just focas on winning games and they're easily capable of 2nd place!

Sheff always bottle it in the 2nd half of the season. I've been saying it would happen for months.

Every season looks like its going to be 'their' season.

I think Warnock will go if they dont make it this season, he will have had enough!

Guess I should post my comments about the game!

Fairly good game, controlled most of it, and really should have punished 'pool more. Cesc well, what can you say! Outstanding, you won't find many players of his age and his quality and in his position.

Eboue looks a real find, he should certainly push Lauren when he eventually returns (September).

Not too sure on the red card. The first challenge was a certain yellow, and he was unlucky with second slipping like he did. However it was a foul and certainly late. He didn't do himself any favours taking so long to leave the pitch. Vieira certainly left the field quicker than late (MU game), and was given a ban.

Really thought Toure had a serious injury, seemed to be in so much pain, and the concern of all the players seemed to suggest it too. Was a typical Toure tackle, jumped in but won the ball, before the other player was even there.

I also managed to myself a Real Madrid programme after the problems on Wednesday! (They sold out:()

Saw Matt Lucas too. How exciting.

No missed it what was the question 'Am i the best player in the world?'

the interviewer asked cesc whether he should have got the freekick..then henry in his mischevious way, said "say yes..." as a joke :D
