Watching the African Nations Cup here on Eurosport, gone to Penalties its 10 all lol, goalies to take em now.

Both keepers have scored its 11 all!!!. :D

Etu skys it over the bar for Cameroon, and Drogba scores to put Ivory Coast into the Semis, what a ******* game!!.

I had to go out just before the penalties so I only found the result of a Nigerian guy in the toilets in some club in Brum, can't believe it! I sat through 120 minutes of a crappy game and missed the shoot out.

I didn't even know the match had kicked off. I got up at 11.50 expecting a 12pm kick-off. Snatched the win to be fair, we had a lot of the pressure in the second half but Norwich always looked dangerous on the break.

Oh well we'll take it! :D

Fergie again showing his madness by taking Park off for Rooney when once again he needed to choose between RvN or Saha - we can't play all three as it leaves Rooney in no-man's land. TBH the way RvN and Saha were playing together today he could have left it as it was if the second half hadn't been so flat.

Saha still looks too greedy imo, never plays the ball when he should and holds it up for too long and ends up slowing down the break.
I think Park was subbed because he hasn't played much and he wasn't fit enough for the whole game, but I could be wrong. He got a goal, so it's not all bad.

I agree with you about Saha, he is a good finisher and he's very quick, but he slows everything down so needlessly sometimes. The amount of times United counter and get in the 18 yard line is good, but when he does it he seems to need to stop and have a good long think. Probably trying to remember what team he's on.

Fulham were unlucky with the RvN offside decision and they played well. It was also good to see Bridge back and playing football again, fantastic cross for their second goal.

I think overall you deserved it, the match was mainly even but I think you just had the edge. We're on a bit of a run of poor form (again), and although having a few new faces in the squad is nice, it doesn't help create a settled team, some of our passing today wasn't too hot, I think it'll take a few weeks until the team is used to playing as a whole again.

Chelsea: Petr Cech , William Gallas , Asier Del Horno , John Terry , Ricardo Carvalho , Frank Lampard , Claude Makelele , Michael Essien , Joe Cole , Arjen Robben , Hernan Crespo

Liverpool: Jose Reina , Sami Hyypia , Steve Finnan , Jamie Carragher , Stephen Warnock , Steven Gerrard , Mohamed Sissoko , John Arne Riise , Harry Kewell , Xabi Alonso , Peter Crouch

I gotta go somewhere now so I'm gonna miss this match, I wonder what the odds are on it being a thriller

I must say I've not been impressed with Chelsea. I think we've dominated the midfield but their defence is playing very well. I agree that zonal marking was at fault for the goal but it's improved a lot since Benitez started using it and has probably saved many a goal but when it doesn't work it does stand out like a sore thumb. Crouch is having another stinker. He doesn't look interested anymore. In the last few months I've noticed our passing on the floor has greatly improved and we've stopped hitting as many long balls to start attacks. I think this change has had a negative effect on the performances of Crouch. He doesn't seem to have much of a purpose in the team anymore :( C'mon Liverpool!
