When you consider we were 3rd and looking serious challengers last year, I think you'd be less than pleased losing 2-0 at home to a crap side.
Lol - Garth Crooks really is on the "City for the Prem" bandwagon.
I can understand that, but they were 3rd, briefly, with Laursen their best player playing. Without him they dropped like a bomb, well without him and playing the dead weight that is Heskey. He's completley the opposite of what the team needed, they thrieved in uber speed getting forwards and having 2-3 very quick players who could play off each other well doing great. Heskey just tries to hold it up, doesn't get in the box enough and rarely actually knocks the ball on anywhere useful.
At the back, Davies and Shorey aren't good enough for top 8 sides let alone competing for the top 4. IN the middle, throwing Delph in at the deep end was, well, stupid. Heskey is a dead weight and makes much of Young/Gabby's game pointless, fast breaking with a few players making runs in various directions to drag the defenders around and make space for someone else to run through. Carew did that brilliantly, why Heskey starts I don't know.
They've lost 3 of their best 5 players in the past 18 months, Melberg, Laursen and Barry replacing them with poor defenders and an untested completely inexperienced central midfielder.
West Ham looked very very decent, Wolves didn't look terrible though, just West Ham are getting a very good offensive minded team together who work together brilliantly.
