Not quite. Most I saw was 11 in the first half. Also involving Spurs, but it was an FA cup game. Spurs 13, Crewe 2, (ht 10-1). It was even a replay. Late 50s.

Possibly. Most likely contender for another player to do the same, or even more, is Denis Law. He scored six in a game for Manchester City against Luton Town, and the match was abandoned mid way through the second half (snow, I seem to remember).

It was an achievement make no mistake. Don't forget this team beat Chelsea just a few weeks ago

Spurs have been in the top 4 for most of the season without playing well. Without their best player - Modric - for 90% of it. With Lennon in and out, Defoe being a whopper and apparently captain Keane out of form and our other captain King a crock. Our other star CB Woodgate also out almost the whole season and first choice GK out half the season.... shall I go on? lol

Imagine what we could do if we play well.....?
